MHL Receives Best Online Resources Award

At the most recent conference of the Archivists and Librarians in the History of Health Sciences held in 2013 at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, the Medical Heritage Library was awarded the Publication Award for Best Online Resource.

Previous winners include Moore, Fee, and Perry’s Women Physicians and the Cultures of Medicine; the Osler Library Prints Collection; Edmondson and Warner’s Dissection: Photographs of a Rite of Passage in American Medicine 1880-1930; and Greenberg and Gallagher’s The Great Contribution: Index Medicus, Index-Catalogue, and IndexCat.

We are honored to receive this award in recognition of the collaborative effort that so many medical libraries have put forth to make their resources digitally available to researchers.
