MHL Blog News

In recent weeks, you may have noticed that the comments on the blog have been a little strange. I have been trying different comment settings on this blog in an attempt to encourage as much potential for discussion on our posts as possible. Unfortunately, this has led to an avalanche of spam — as some of you have probably noticed if you noticed the comment totals and clicked through to view any of them!

As a result, I have re-restricted comment posting. While you can still post a comment without being registered with WordPress, all comments will require the approval of an administrator before appearing live on the post.

While the MHL has no formal comments policy in place, we encourage polite, respectful dialogue between peers; comments using abusive or derogatory language or engaging in ad hominem attacks will be deleted.

In further news, we’re going to be making some changes to our look in the upcoming weeks. While I realise that many of our readers probably follow us through RSS feed readers, I encourage you to check out the site in the next few weeks. If you like what you see, tell us! If you don’t like what you see, tell us that, too!

Thank you and as always, for more from the Medical Heritage Library, please visit ourĀ full collection!
