Searching the MHL (II)

If you happen to know that you’re looking for a title from a particular contributor to the MHL — or perhaps you want to restrict your search so that you only get results from a library close to you or one you are planning to visit in the future — there’s a way to do that!

Go to the Advanced Search option, available at the top of the Archive main page:

When you get to the Advanced Search page, select the following options: from the “Collection” dropdown, select “medicalheritagelibrary.” From one of the three “Custom field” dropdowns, select “contributor” and then enter the library you wish to search for:

Then enter what search terms you wish in the other boxes: a date range, series title, keywords, or author name.

As always, for more from the Medical Heritage Library, please visit ourĀ full collection!
